Spend one blessed month in the radiant city of the Prophet ﷺ—learning sacred knowledge in the heart of Madinah. Sacred Studies offers a rare opportunity to study the Seerah and Arabic language in a spiritually uplifting environment, guided by esteemed teachers and scholars.

Our Teachers

Shaykh Yasir Fahmy

Shaykh Yasir Fahmy is the founder and resident scholar of Prophetic Living. After beginning his Islamic studies in high school and spending time in Jordan, he completed a degree at Rutgers University before pursuing advanced scholarship at Al-Azhar University in Cairo, where he studied for seven years and became the first American Azhari to teach in the historic Al-Azhar Mosque. Through his teaching and leadership, Shaykh Yasir inspires love for the deen and connects American Muslims to the depth of Islamic tradition.

Dr. Antar Teleba

Dr. Antar Teleba is a renowned professor of Education and Applied Linguistics, holding an MA in Religion from Carleton University, Canada, and a Higher Diploma in Islamic Studies from the College of the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina, where he lived for 12 years, deeply studying Islamic history and tracing the footsteps of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). A trained psychotherapist, he combines academic rigor with spiritual insight, authoring a book on Medina’s landmarks and producing popular YouTube series like “Medina, History Revived” and “Scenes of the Prophet’s Life,” which have garnered over 600,000 views. Known for his engaging lectures on the Seerah and Medina’s sacred sites, Dr. Teleba bridges education, history, and psychology, inspiring global audiences with his scholarship and passion for Islamic heritage.

What You’ll Experience

Daily Sacred Study

A thoughtfully designed curriculum that combines spiritual insight with foundational language skills
Seerah classes taught by Shaykh Antar Teleba and Shaykh Yasir Fahmy
Arabic classes taught by qualified teachers at Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz University

Children’s Program (Ages 6–11)

An engaging program will be offered for children ages 6–11 whose parents are registered participants. This includes:

Qur’an lessons
Fun and creative play
Supervised care during adult class hours

Please note:

This is not a full educational program, but a blend of Qur’an lessons, Arabic language, fun, and babysitting
Children under age 6 cannot be accommodated
All children must be registered and under the care of a parent/guardian outside of program hours

Accommodations & Hospitality

Stay in a 4-star hotel within walking distance to Masjid al-Nabawi
Daily breakfast provided
Transportation to and from the university and all scheduled excursions

Umrah & Weekly Excursions

A three-day Umrah trip (via private bus transportation)
Weekly site visits to Madinah’s historical and cultural landmarks
In total, 3 local excursions + 1 Umrah trip

Who Can Join?

Arabic and Seerah classes are designed for ages 12 and up
Minors under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
All participants are expected to fully attend classes and sessions in the spirit of seeking knowledge, and children are expected to attend the children’s program

Includes classes, lodging, transport to university, Umrah trip, excursions, and breakfast.

Airfare, airport transfers, and visa costs are not included — participants are responsible for securing their own travel arrangements.

A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 per person is required at the time of registration. You’ll then receive an invoice with instructions to complete payment of the remaining balance.

Traveling with children?

A $300 credit will be issued after registration for each child under 12 years old.

This discount will be manually credited back to you after you complete your registration.

Solo Travelers

Choose between:

A private room (Single Room), or
Choose a solo traveller package for a quad, triple, or double room with assigned roommates if you’re open to sharing with a same-gender roommate for a reduced rate
