Prophetic Living aims to develop thriving Muslim communities who follow the footsteps of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and center their lives around Allah through knowledge (‘ilm), worship (‘ibada), practice (‘amal), service (khidma), and companionship (suhba). Through the intentional cultivation of Prophetic lifestyles and communities, we strive to build strong foundations and practices to counter the modern trends of secularism and hyperindividualism that leave so many thirsty for spiritual nourishment.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “By Him in Whose Hand my soul is! You will not enter Jannah until you believe, and you shall not believe until you love one another.”

Striving to build loving, God-conscious, prophetically inspired communities is at the core of Prophetic Living’s mission. Yet, the pursuit of righteous companionship can only occur through a gradual pathway of behavioral change based in our rich Islamic tradition of knowledge, submission to Allah, and striving for beauty and excellence.

The methodology to achieve Prophetic Living is built upon the so-called “Mother of Hadith”, Hadith Jibril, where the meanings and interplay of adab, islam, iman, ihsan, and time provide the foundation of understanding Islam through the Prophetic lens. Hadith Jibril gives us a complete roadmap to engage with the divine and creation and pursue loving surrender to Allah with body, intellect, and heart.
